NEW iCTF - Pickup Server

This server is on mapvote but also includes some custom maps, please download these from the downloads link on the left before entering the server, or you might miss out on the game.

Due to many requests jolt.co.uk#12 is now an iCTF Pickup server. For those wishing to play please join #jolt.pickup (Quakenet) where the topic will explain how to join the server. Once there are enough players for a 10 player game the bot will also PM you the game password.

First Jolt Server Online

The new Beta Demo is a little rough around the edges, I guess that is why they call it beta, but we have the first of what will hopefully be many public UT3 servers running.

To join it you can simply sort the servers by name � jolt.co.uk is the prefix of the server � or connect directly by typing �open 78.33.17.18� in the game console.

UT3 Demo Released

Finally the long awaited UT3 Demo has been released by Epic Games. It consists of 4 Gametypes, Duel, DeathMatch, Team DeathMatch & Vehicle CTF (VCTF). Personal experience of playing it is that it is indeed more like the UT99 feel of things, but with heavy influence of UT2004 weaponry. The demo has 3 maps for you to experience with awesome scenery.

Now the bad side....

One little bug but easily overcome is that when you create your user Profile you have to enter your e-mail address and when you press the @ key it opens up the chat console, so get around this by opening notepad, type your e-mail address in and copy it, then just paste it into the box.

As of yet it doesn't support WinXP 64 properly

There are no facilities in the demo to successfully run dedicated servers from our end, although you can host your own, which will explain why any servers you connect to are somewhat laggy. As soon as they iron these bugs out or there is a patch available we will be bringing you more servers than you can throw a stick at.
